When people drink and drive, the consequences affect the entire community. It is not specific to sex, race, nationality, religion, income bracket or party affiliation. Taxes are used to pay police and paramedics. Damaged property needs to be repaired. People who get DUI’s sometimes lose their jobs, their spouses, and sometimes more. How many stories have you heard about sober people being killed by a drunk driver while stopped at a red light?
Designated Driver of Colorado Springs is a non-profit organization that relies on community support to help reduce or eliminate alcohol related traffic incidents. Sponsorship is one way our community can help. Even if you don’t drink or your business doesn’t sell alcohol, you can still help protect the streets of our community.
Personal sponsorship comes with the security of knowing that you will have a safe ride home if you should ever need it, and that you are helping us make our streets a little safer. Business sponsors receive powerful advertising for their business and recognition for their desire to protect our community and citizens. Sponsors that serve alcohol show that they care about their customers, and wants to be sure that everyone gets home safe.
